Thoughtfully designed flexibility can help students navigate challenges, stay engaged, and demonstrate learning without compromising course rigor. This hands-on workshop explores practical approaches to incorporating flexibility into course design, policies, and assessments. Participants will examine strategies related to deadlines, attendance, participation, assessment options, and learning pathways while considering how flexibility can support diverse student needs and experiences.

Faculty are encouraged to bring a syllabus, assignment, or course policy to review during the session. Participants will leave with actionable ideas and revisions that can be implemented in their courses right away.
