In partnership with the Office of Research and Graduate Studies (ORGS), CIS is pleased to introduce the Building Excellence in Graduate Teaching Assistants Series. These sessions are designed to prepare graduate students for their teaching roles at CMU, enhance their teaching skills, increase their pedagogical knowledge and practice, and equip them with the tools and strategies necessary to support undergraduate education effectively. GTAs receive guidance in various pedagogical techniques, teaching methods, and classroom management strategies. In this session, we will celebrate your progress and success while engaging in reflective practices to gain insights into your teaching techniques. This session will help you apply what you have learned and make informed decisions about refining your approaches and integrating them into your teaching philosophy. Join us to plan for a successful future in education.
