Thursday, February 16, 2023 :: 1:00-2:00 PM
Virtual | Other
Intended Audience: CMU Faculty
Facilitated by: Gabrielle Likavec
At CMU, we do real-world learning, but what does that mean in your course? The Office of Curriculum and Instructional Support’s Spring 2023 Signature Series, We Do: Bringing the Real World to your Classroom, will explore manageable, evidence-based methods to bring meaningful learning through real-world experiences.
In this final session of the series, CIS staff and colleagues will explore the tenant of rigorous and authentic assessment and the benefits and challenges of assessing student learning using real-world scenarios and problems. Workshop participants will discover authentic assessment best practices and apply them to their courses.
NOTE:
This session will be offered in a HyFlex format, which will allow registrants to attend either Face to Face in Park 413 or via WebEx using the link included below.
