The second installment of this series will focus on the art of teaching, and what that currently means for each of us as individuals, as faculty, and as learners. Together, we will prioritize the potential in our practices and consider strategies to maximize the experience for ourselves and our students. We will identify the surprisingly subtle yet important variations in the materials and language needed to reach and connect with learners in diverse environments. We will also explore time-saving methods to modify (as needed) and implement high-quality course materials and instructional techniques (including collaboration, lecturing, discussion activities, and more) that accommodate such varied modalities.
