Park Library | 413
Intended Audience: CMU Faculty & Staff
Facilitated by Phil Coffman
Recording and sharing high-quality media has never been easier for CMU faculty. CIS now offers three self-booking, user-guided recording spaces that reduce technical barriers and enable faculty to focus on effective instruction while recording. The Lightboard Maker Space enables recording of handwritten concepts on a 4ft x 6ft glass panel; the Video Maker Space records video, voice, and slides using LED lighting, an HD camera, and a 28" annotation tablet; and the Audio Maker Space records using a broadcast-quality microphone along with a 28" annotation tablet for marking up slide presentations. Participants will tour all three spaces and walk through the reservation, recording, and sharing process.
