This interactive session will explore assignments aligned with the fundamentals of team-based learning: group presentations and projects, designing effective groups, evaluating and managing the contributions of peers within a group, assigning “roles” to ensure meaningful collaboration, and improving relationships (e.g., setting group expectations).

About the series: Regardless of subject matter, life skills can be infused into any undergraduate course, and The Office of Curriculum and Instructional Support wants to show you how! This 3-part series, inspired by Bill Coplin’s (2019) The Happy Professor: How to Teach Undergraduates and Feel Good About It, focuses on our diverse role as educators, andragogical approaches to engaging with Generation Z, and classroom organization that prepares students for careers and citizenship while serving to support their success with course content.
