Educators often identify students’ lack of academic preparedness as a challenge that hampers classroom instruction, a collaborative community, and student success. In the online setting, identifying and addressing struggling students can add additional challenges. In this interactive session, we will illustrate early signs of academic under-preparedness, demonstrate student-centered activities to increase engagement, and explore management techniques and available resources to support learners.
