In this session, we will discuss why creating closure in the classroom is important and we will review several activities that can foster a sense of completion. Additionally, we will discuss how to reflect on your semester as a growing instructor and how to properly make sense of feedback from student evaluations. By the end of the session, you should feel more confident in your ability to bring the semester to a meaningful end and cull your teaching experience for growth as an instructor. Learn why closure at the conclusion of a course matters. Discover activities and strategies to foster a sense of completion. Explore reflective strategies to consider feedback and integrate it in future practice.
